Welcome to the guided meditation for weight loss. In this meditation, you’ll start to tune into your body and its natural processes. This is the first step toward losing weight with meditation.
Step 1: Start by finding a comfortable position either sitting up or lying down. Gently close your eyes.
Step 2: Tune into the breath. Bring your attention to rest where you feel the sensations of breathing most strongly.
Step 3: Notice how the body breathes completely on its own. Resist the urge to control or change the breath in any way. Just observe.
Step 4: Begin to feel into the body. What sensations do you notice? Maybe there’s tingling, pulsing, or numbness. Just observe and let the sensations be.
Step 5: Become aware of the fact that the body has its own wisdom. Make a commitment to yourself and your body to pay more attention to its natural signals.
Before you enjoy your next meal, remember to tune into your body first and just observe the sensations. Are you truly hungry? Or are you simply reaching for food out of stress, boredom, or maybe a craving?
Step 6: Bring your attention back to the breath. Notice the natural rhythm as you inhale and exhale.
Step 7: Gently bring your attention back into the room and open your eyes to end this meditation.
