How do you practice guided meditation?
Guided meditation is a simple way for beginners to get started. Find a comfortable position either sitting up or lying down. You should feel alert, yet relaxed. If you’ll be sitting on the floor, I recommend sitting on a meditation cushion like this one.
Once you’ve found the best position, simply press play and listen! Relax and follow the audio guidance.
How long should beginners meditate?
I recommend that beginners meditate for just 10 minutes. If you’re consistent with meditation, you only need about 10 minutes a day to start experiencing the benefits quickly.
