Guided Morning Meditation for Weight Loss – Plus Free Mp3 Download
Step 1: Find a comfortable position either sitting up or lying down. Gently close your eyes.
Step 2: Allow your body to relax completely as it rests down into gravity. Feel how your body is supported by the earth.
Step 3: Take a few deep and intentional breaths. Feel your body filling with fresh, clean energy as you inhale and exhale.
Step 4: Take a moment to show gratitude for your body. Thank your body for all it does for you each and every day.
Step 5: Make a commitment to your body to only eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re full. This is an act of self care that your body will thank you for.
Before you sit down to eat today, ask yourself “Am I really hungry or am I eating because ________” Wait patiently for your body to give you an answer.
Keep in mind that there are a lot of reasons why we might crave food besides true hunger, such as stress or boredom. Commit to listening to your body’s natural signals today and only eating when you’re truly hungry.
Step 6: Take one more full breath. Fill your body up with positive energy.
Step 7: Gently bring your attention back into the room and open your eyes to end the meditation.
I recommend practicing this meditation every morning for at least 30 days to experience maximum benefit.
