The Paleo diet has been on trend the past few years for good reason. It boasts a healthy way to lose weight and fight disease without counting calories or skipping dessert. Although it’s not realistic for everyone to follow the Paleo diet, everyone can certainly benefit from eating Paleo meals once in a while.
This is the Paleo blog list for EVERYONE, including those who don’t usually eat Paleo. These five bloggers create Paleo recipes that are so mouthwateringly delicious, you can’t even tell that they’re healthy! That’s a win for anyone.
I don’t personally follow the Paleo diet, but some of my favorite cookbooks, food blogs, and recipes are Paleo. I just think it’s a clean, healthy, and delicious way to eat! Eating Paleo even just a few times a week can help you reap some of the health benefits of a grain-free, veggie-and-protein-filled lifestyle! These five incredible blogs will get you started! Get ready for some of the best Paleo recipes you’ll ever taste!
P.S. You can also find delicious Paleo recipes on Flaxseeds & Fairytales right here!
1) Against All Grain
This delicious food blog by the beautiful Danielle Walker was actually my first introduction to the Paleo diet. Danielle’s story about how she beat Crohn’s disease by following the Paleo diet is so inspiring.
Her recipes are simple and delicious! She’s especially adept at making Paleo desserts that taste decadent and delightful– you can’t even tell they’re grain-free!
I own several of Danielle’s cookbooks, including Against All Grain and Meals Made Simple
. If you love the recipes on her blog, I highly recommend the cookbooks as well. If you’re looking for a great Paleo cupcake recipe, try her Snickerdoodle Cupcake on page 250 of the Against All Grain cookbook. It’s SOOO good!
Favorite Recipes: Grain-Free Sandwich Bread, Paleo Nacho Cheese Sauce, Homemade Gluten-Free Marshmallows
2) The Domestic Man
I discovered Russ Crandall’s blog recently after purchasing his amazing cookbook Paleo Takeout. One of the things that’s been hardest for me since going gluten-free (I had to for health reasons- read more about it here) is giving up my favorite takeout meals: Thai Pad See Ew, Orange Chicken, Gyros, Pizza, etc.
Russ Crandall single-handedly changed this for me! His Paleo blog has an international spin, so you can enjoy Paleo versions of your restaurant favorites at home. From Indian to Japanese to traditional American, Russ has it all! Even if you don’t follow the Paleo diet, it never hurts to enjoy more of your take-out favorites at home without the MSG, mystery meat, and other junk. Russ will show you how!
Favorite Recipes: Sweet and Sour Chicken, Gluten-Free Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Pad Thai
3) Predominantly Paleo
Jennifer Robins’ blog Predominantly Paleo is one of my all-time favorites for one simple reason: her recipes are SO easy! One of the scariest things about Paleo cooking is the recipes are sometimes complicated and require a million different ingredients. Not the case with Predominantly Paleo– these recipes are as simple as they are delicious!
If you have an Instant Pot and you’re interested in cooking more Paleo recipes, I highly recommend Jennifer’s cookbook, Paleo Cooking With Your Instant Pot
! The recipes in this book are so easy and many of them just require dumping the ingredients in your IP and letting it do it’s thing. Perfect for healthy eating on lazy weekday nights!
Favorite Recipes: Jamaican Jerk Pork Loin, Instant Pot Buffalo Chicken + Sweet Potatoes, Paleo Fried Chicken
4) Nom Nom Paleo
If you shopped at Whole Foods last January, you’ve probably heard of Nom Nom Paleo (WF featured recipes from the blog in their hot bar during that time). It’s one of the most well-known Paleo blogs for a reason. Michelle Tam is a Paleo genius! She has some of the best Paleo recipes around. Her recipes are so good, you’ll forget they’re good for you. She’s won so many awards, it’s hard to keep track! All hail the Queen of Paleo Blogs! 😉
Although I don’t personally own this one, Michelle has a cookbook called Ready or Not! that I’ve heard great things about. The book centers around make-ahead Paleo meals– YES PLEASE! This one is definitely next on my Amazon wish list!
Favorite Recipes: Instant Pot Zucchini Bolognese , Paleo Walnut Shrimp, Umami Roast Chicken
5) PaleOmg
PaleOmg is more than just an amazing Paleo blog. Blogger Juli Bauer also writes about fashion, fitness, beauty, and travel! I love the voice she uses on her blog– she’s so much fun to read! She’s one of the best Paleo food bloggers around and she’s very well-rounded in the topics she covers. What more could you ask for?
If you love PaleOmg then you’ll also be excited to hear that Juli has a cookbook coming out in just a few days! Check it out on Amazon here.
Favorite Recipes: Pad Thai Shrimp Lettuce Cups, Caramelized Onion Bacon Cream Cheese Dip, Ginger Tahini Cookies
That’s it! Some of the best paleo food bloggers and the best paleo recipes on the world wide web! Happy (healthy) eating!
Curious about the Paleo diet? Check out the resources below! (I highly recommend Practical Paleo, if you’re new to the diet. It was one of my first introductions to Paleo and has been dubbed “The Paleo Bible” by readers. It also has delicious recipes!)
